FAQ

“Do ketones really suppress your appetite?”

A 2014 study by Gibson, Seimon, Lee et al. Assessed appetite of various adults before ketosis and while in ketosis. They found that individuals adhering to KLCD were less hungry and had a reduced desire to eat. These individuals experienced decreased appetite even within the context of energy restriction and concluded that ketosis provides a plausible explanation for this suppression of appetite.
